Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Air Wisper, a macOS voice-to-text application built by Alexis Santos. By downloading or using Air Wisper, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Air Wisper is a macOS application that converts speech to text using on-device recognition and optional cloud-based transcription and AI text polish. The service includes a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

2. Account

You need an account to use Air Wisper. You can sign up with Apple Sign In or email/password. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Air Wisper for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application.
• Abuse the API proxy or attempt to bypass usage limits.
• Share your account or authentication tokens with others.
• Use the service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

4. Subscriptions and payments

The Pro subscription is billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — email me if you have an issue.

Prices may change with reasonable notice. Free tier features and limits may also change over time.

5. Intellectual property

Air Wisper and its original content, features, and design are owned by Alexis Santos. The text you generate using Air Wisper is yours. I claim no ownership over your transcriptions or polished text.

6. Third-party services

Air Wisper relies on third-party services including OpenAI, Supabase, Stripe, and Cloudflare. Your use of these services through Air Wisper is also subject to their respective terms. I am not responsible for outages, changes, or issues caused by third-party providers.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Air Wisper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. I do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Transcriptions will be 100% accurate.
• AI polish results will meet your specific requirements.
• The service will be available at all times.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alexis Santos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising from your use of Air Wisper.

In any case, my total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using Air Wisper at any time. I may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. If I terminate your account, I will attempt to notify you by email when reasonable.

10. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of Air Wisper after changes means you accept the updated terms. For material changes, I will try to notify you via the app or email.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Spain.
